NYC

One day is certainly not enough time to spend in the city. Especially not one day when it's 100+ degrees out and most of what you want to do requires walking. We started at Penn Station and made it as far north as Central Park. Our grand plans were to head up to Central Park and then wander back through downtown as far as we could walk. Thanks to the heat we never made it any farther south than the train station. Guess that means we'll just have to go back someday!

Visiting and then leaving the city makes me sad to live in Ohio all over again.

I miss public transportation.

Inside Central Park. I always find it so amazing that there's this whole little green world inside of the massive concrete jungle that is NYC. Once you step through the gates you can barely hear the business going on outside.

Waved hello to Eloise at The Plaza.

I visited the Fox News HQ. No, I'm not pointing. Wrong finger.

Wall of Muppets at FAO. I had to restrain myself from buying all of the Muppet movies for Charlie.

  2. So glad you had a good time! Your posts about where you live always crack me up though, because I'm so opposite. I'd love to visit NYC, but the idea of living there makes me cringe! LOL. If I ever make it up there though, maybe I'll take you as my tour guide.
